The Albert Park Tennis & Hockey Centre operates as a 12-court tennis facility, ideal for players of all abilities. During the Australian Open, we will be extending our hours of operation to give you even more time to enjoy the game. Whether you're looking for casual court hire or professional coaching, our friendly staff will be on-site during the day to assist with all your needs. Please be mindful of other users and clean up after your session.
The Centre will be closed from 24 December 2024 until 3 January 2025. Upon our return, throughout January, will have altered operating hours of 12-8pm each day. We wish you all a safe and happy festive season and look forward to welcoming you in the New Year.
Albert Park Hockey and Tennis Centre is an easily-accesible facility in a great setting. Situated close to public transport and the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, the centre is located in Hockey Drive at the Fitzroy Street end of beautiful Albert Park. The venue features 12 synthetic grass tennis courts during the summer season (October to March) and a hockey pitch during the winter season (April to September). It provides a first-class tennis experience in an accessible location, complete with floodlights, toilets and BBQ facilities.

We hold ourselves to equally high standards in the development of players, whether for competitive or recreational play, it is through individualised attention to each player that we reach for excellence. Casual Court Hire is $33 per hour per court
